I got this for my Poulan PLN3516F 16-Inch HP Electric Chain Saw. It arrived 5 days later and it was a perfect fit.

There is a selection guide at OregonChain's website that pointed me to this particular model (the S55) and it was the only match.

After replacing the chain it was much easier to trim branches. I only wish that it was easy to identify when the chain is worn out.

I first bought the S56 blade because that is what Amazon said will fit my saw. It did not. I needed the blade quickly so I had to go out Locally and find one that would fit my Poulan 16" electric saw. The saw model is the pln3516f. This saw blade works great and fits perfectly. Why doesn't the manufacturer list this saw on the package?

Good item/product. Fits my Poulan 16" electric saw, even though that saw is not listed on this packaging. The blade that says its for that saw does not fit it.

This cahin, the s55 actually fits the craftsman (sears brand) 16 inch electric chain saw. The amazon look up guides you to s56. One number one and hal extra links, is how it works. I suggest you call oregon chain and insure the extact model number oregon gives you for your saw. Amazon has this s56 and s55 mis guided for craftsman. Their may be others and fitting a chain saw to a cross linked brand is tricky business, just call oregon chain. They have excellent AMERICAN technical assitance, so you can speak english and the onlt thing is you have to time it with west coast normal business hours, but it is worth it to speak to an American technical expert and it keeps and on shore american employed. I prefer to do business with made in USA to I dont get poison(like red chinese products) and have an american call center so They speak like us and "get it" right away.lus in these time, hire a veteran or an americna and buy american first;as every other country does naturally; we should do the same vote with your wallet and at the ballot box to get the governemnt you want not the one shoved down your throat by elitist. Summarizing s55 fit craftsman 16 inch electric saw, irrespective of amazon listing;call vendor for intricate parts across the board to be sure.

amazon fixed the problem in under 1-2 days, had old one out bound and new one in bound that night and right chain next day thanks to amazon call center. Now I called at night and got a great Phillipino service agent. took care of me 110%. spoke perfect english and "got it" and took care of everything! Remebr the phillpines is an old amercian colony and friendly ally in a dangerous world, so they are OK on my list,despite my "buy american" soapbox" earlier. This group has there work together! That because AMAZON know what they are doing! during the day you get a US calll center! So AMAZON has you covered!
