I got this 100% DEET for my trip to Costa Rica, and while there, I never got one, single insect bite on the areas of myself where I sprayed it. During my entire trip, I only got one, teeny-tiny bug bite at the nape of my neck, but it went away quickly (I didn't spray it on my face or head, as a precaution). I highly recommend this spray if you are going to the jungle; it really, really works!

Hey, it's 100% DEET. It works great. Wouldn't recommend for someone who has sensitive skin though as it can cause a rash on some people. If you can use it, no worries about biting insects at all. Personally I don't use it on my face but know people who have with no ill effects.

I received my REPEL 100 quickly and in good condition. It was as pictured and as described by the seller.

100% DEET repellent is quite strong; not everyone needs that level of repellent. I need it and I'm happy with this product.

This product has only drawback, and a minor one at that. It is a spray repellent and the spray head rotates -- more than I would like it too. Occasionally, the spray head rotates more than I want it to and I waste repellent by spraying it in a direction away from myself.

One other thing, not a drawback, but an observation: 1 fluid ounce of repellent spray is not very much spray. This is a small-volume product.

I'm glad that I bought the product and will likely purchase more of it.

I love Repel 100 because biting insects seem to love me. I spend a good bit of time outdoors and they normally would ignore everyone else to feast on me, but after using Repel the bugs just stay away. Since it is 100% DEET, I only apply it on top of sunscreen lotion and not directly on my unprotected skin.

We live on a river and during spring the mousquito population is horrible. Bouht this 100% deet product for the first time and have ordered three more. Works great. little goes along way. Will continue to buy.

been raining since yesterday and misquitos were out in full force "norther mn" it was overcast so they were really bad but I wanted to get some work done outside, normally I would just do inside work and wait for a better day. But figured I would try this new stuff out put 1-2 sprays on both forearms "was wearing short sleeve shirt" and 1 spray on back of the neck was out for about 4 hours hauling dirt with my 6 wheel utv shoveling and running my backhoe, was only bitten once on my finger while running the backhoe and where I sprayed the deet on that arm was closer to the elbow so I feel the deet worked 100% only had a couple fly by my face and they did not stick around long "remember I sprayed on back of neck not on face at all"

So I would definitely recommend this, I have used it before a year ago and had some left over from then "smaller bottle" tried it this year and it was not as affective as this new stuff, I believe it gets less potent with age. So buy a little and buy more every year instead of having left over from the year before.

I used the Repel 100 on a hiking trip in the Rocky Mts last summer. The mosquitoes were horrible, but lucky for my group I brought some of this product. Literally you could see the mosquitoes fly to your arm and then retreat as if there was a force field around your body. Product works great, certainly a must for deep works hiking.

Thailands mosquito's frequently stick and fly off with full grown adults humans. These poor losers suffer a horrible death of being sucked dry in the jungle. The next day search parties recover the shriveled up husks of people strewn about the tropical countryside. With this juice I was untouched by the pterodactyl sized pests. This is the good stuff!

Got this for a vacation to bahamas. Used it religiously everyday in the beginning = no bug bites.

The last 2 days I was there, I stopped using it, thinking that I'd be fine. Ended up going home with a handful of itchy bug bites. Should have stuck with it the entire trip!

The high Deet in this didn't seem to work that well. Lower Deet products worked better and didn't stain things. This even started eating away at my flip flops after I put them on a bit after applying.
